On Fiday, 03.07.2026 together with Univ.Prof. Mag. Dr. Fritz Seewald, we will take a conscious walk through the forests of the Russbacher Horn. Far away from digital devices (the devices are safely stored at the mountain station), interesting insights into the soil system, the forest climate and the ecological relationships of the forest trees are conveyed.

Meeting point: 10:15 am at the Hornbahn valley station in Russbach (cable car ticket necessary)
Duration: approx. 2.5-3 hours (pure walking time approx. 45 minutes)
Difficulty: easy terrain
What to bring: light hiking equipment, if required: seat pad
Optional refreshment stop at the Zeishofalm
